Product descriptionPP (polypropylene) filament is a very lightweight filament for 3D printers. The print temperature is slightly higher than PLA, but it's user-friendly and resistant to acids and alkalis. Due to its low density, objects printed with PP filament can easily float. Another advantage is that it doesn't break easily! This material is ideal for model making, drones, and more. Tip: Since PP doesn't adhere to print foils like our BuildTak, we recommend using a polypropylene sheet (if your 3D printer doesn't have a heated print bed). This prevents warping when printing large objects. + Eco-friendly: Although PP isn't biodegradable, it is recyclable, making it a more environmentally friendly option compared to some other plastics. + Ultra-light: PP filament is very light, allowing printed objects to float easily. + Flexible and tough: Unlike some more brittle filaments like PLA, PP has a degree of flexibility and toughness, meaning it's less likely to break under pressure or stress. + Chemical resistant: PP is resistant to most acids, bases, and solvents, making it suitable for applications that require chemical exposure. + Low shrinkage factor: While it can show some shrinkage, PP is generally less prone to warping than other materials like ABS. - Good to know: This type of filament is compatible with all common desktop FDM and FFF 3D printers.
