01 General

0101. On

Description:

When the initiator closes or is pressed, the subject closes (on).

Diagrams:

Parameters:

None

Feedback behaviour:

LED on when subject is closed (on), blinking while timer is running

Examples:

On button

This action applies to:

0102. Off

Description:

When the initiator closes or is pressed, the subject opens (off).

Diagrams:

Parameters:

None

Feedback behaviour:

LED always off

Examples:

Off button

This action applies to:

0103. Toggle

Description:

Each time the initiator closes or is pressed, the subject toggles (if it was on, it is switched off; if it was off, it is switched on).

Diagrams:

Parameters:

None

Feedback behaviour:

LED on when subject is closed (on), blinking while timer is running

Examples:

On / off button

This action applies to:

0104. Momentary (follow)

Description:

As long as the initiator is open (off, released), the subject is open (off). As long as the initiator is closed (on, pressed), the subject is closed (on).

When several initiators are linked to the same subject using 0104. Momentary (follow) actions, they function as a logical OR: as long as one or more of the initiators is closed (pressed, on), the subject will be closed (on). Only when all initiators are open (off, released), the subject will be open (off).

Caution: this logical OR function will be cancelled if another action (eg. 0102. Off) intervenes.

Diagrams:

Parameters:

None

Feedback behaviour:

LED on when subject is closed (on), blinking while timer is running

Examples:

  1. Door bell (initiator = push button, subject = bell relay)
  2. As long as the lights in the toilet are on, a ventilator works (initiator = light relay, subject = ventilator relay)
  3. Automatically switch off the power supply of a dimmable fixture when the light is off (initiator = dimming channel, subject = relay controlling the power supply).

This action applies to:

0105. Execute action set by hardware

Description:

Execute the action defined by the rotary switches on the module.

Parameters:

None

This action applies to:

0106. Up

Description:

The initiator is a push button

  • short press: the blind goes up, either completely or until a down action is initiated.
  • long press: the blind goes up as long as the button is pressed. The motor stops when the button is released.
If the blind channel is in slat mode (cfr. blind configuration in Velbuslink), the functions for long and short press are inversed (firmware 1809 or higher).

If the blind was going down, a short or long press will stop the motor.

The initiator is a relay or sensor

The blind goes up when the initiator closes. If the blind was going down, it will stop. If the initiator is not a push button, in most cases the action 0109. Immediately up is more suitable.

Parameters:

None

Feedback behaviour:

LED blinks while the blind goes up, and is constantly lit when completely up

This action applies to:

0107. Immediately up

Description:

This action applies to:

0213. Slave (following initiator)

Description:

This action is used for master/slave dimming. Master/slave dimming uses the initiator dimming channel as the master. When dimming the master channel up or down, the slave will follow. But when dimming the slave up or down, the master channel will not follow.

The master must be initiator of this action, and the slave subject.

Don't forget to set the master dimming channel as master in the configuration settings of the dimmer module.

Parameters:

None

This action applies to:

0214. Atmospheric dimvalue

Description:

When the initiator closes or is pressed, the light dims to the set dimming value. This value can be set in percentages ranging from 0% (completely off) to 100% (completely on) in steps of 1%.

If duration is different from continuous, the dimming channel will be switched off after the timer expires. The timer starts to run as soon as the initiator is released or when the dimming channel reaches 100%. The timer is restartable.

The dim up / down duration defines how long it will take to dim gradually from the current percentage to the target percentage.

By entering only two dim values in the list (eg. 0% and 65%), this action can be used as a dim toggle.

If duration is different from continuous, the dimming channel will be switched off after the timer expires. The timer starts to run as soon as the initiator is released or when the dimming channel reaches 100%.

Parameters:

  • Duration
    • 0s (none)

LED is off when dimmer is off (0%), blinks during dimming up or down, and is constantly lit when a dimming value different from 0% is reached (blinking slowly if duration is different from continuous)

Examples:

With each press on a button, the dimmer cycles through the dimming values 0%, 25%, 50%, 75% and then 0% etc. (the number of steps and their values can be freely configured).

This action applies to:

0405. Start/stop timer

Description:

When the initiator closes or is pressed, the subject closes and a timer starts to run. The subject opens when the timer expires.

If the initiator is closed while the timer is running, the timer stops (and is reset to zero) and the subject opens.

A short press can start another timer than a long press, provided the initiator is a push button.

Parameters:

  • Duration at short press
    • 0s (none)
    • 1s to 3 days
    • Continuous
    • Default value: 5s
  • Duration at long press

    • 1s to 3 days
    • Continuous
    • Default value: 0s (none)

This action applies to:

0406. Trigger-on-release timer

Description:

When the initiator opens or is released, the subject closes and a timer starts to run. The subject opens when the timer expires. If the initiator is opened while the timer is running, the timer restarts.

This action applies to:

0407. Non-restartable timer

Description:

When the initiator closes or is pressed, the subject closes and a timer starts to run. The subject opens when the timer expires. The timer cannot be restarted: closing the initiator while the timer is running has no effect.

This action applies to:

0408. Start/stop timer

Description:

Similar to 0405. Start/stop timer, but for dimmer channels.

When the initiator closes or is pressed, the subject is turned on (100%), and then turned off (0%) when the timer expires. If the initiator is closed (pressed) while the timer is running, the timer is stopped (and reset to 0) and the subject is turned off (0%).

Parameters:

  • Duration
    • 0s (none)
    • 1s to 3 days
    • Continuous
    • Default value: 10s

Feedback behaviour:

LED blinks while dimming up or down, blinks slowly while the timer is running (is constantly lit if duration = continuous)

This action applies to:

0409. Start/stop timer with slow on/off

Description:

Similar to action 0408. Start/stop timer with adjustable dimming-up and dimming-down durations (see actions 0301. Slow on and 0303. Slow off).

Parameters:

  • Dim down duration
    • 0s (none)
    • 1s to 3 days
    • Continuous
    • Default value: 5s
  • Dim up duration

    • 1s to 3 days
    • Continuous
    • Default value: 10s

Feedback behaviour:

LED blinks while dimming up or down, blinks slowly while the timer is running (is constantly lit if duration = continuous)

This action applies to:

0410. Restartable timer

Description:

Similar to 0412. Restartable timer, but for dimmer channels.

When the initiator closes or is pressed, the subject is turned on (100%), and then turned off (0%) when the timer expires. If the initiator is closed (pressed) while the timer is running, the timer is restarted (similar to action 0412. Restartable timer).

Parameters:

  • Duration
    • 0s (none)
    • 1s to 3 days
    • Continuous
    • Default value: 10s
